What Is Stan Store? 4 Creator Examples & Why I Love It
Note: I have stopped using Stan Store for my business for cost reasons. Since I’m a Flodesk customer, Flodesk checkout made more sense for my budget. BUT, I still recommend this platform and have gotten positive feedback on this article, so I hope it is helpful for you if you’re looking to sell digital products! (PS: Since I am no longer a Stan Store customer, I am also not a Stan Store affiliate.)
I’ve been in content marketing for over 5 years. I’ve used many tools (and worn many hats) as a social media manager, copywriter, content creator, and email marketer.
As such, I’ve created many a link in bio (usually Linktree or Beacons) for clients. I’ve also made more complicated sites on Wordpress and Squarespace (where I host this site) and simple sites on Carrd.

What Is Stan Store?
In their words, Stan Store is an “All-in-One Creator Store.” It’s a link-in-bio style digital storefront where you can sell your digital products, courses, memberships, or other digital assets. They’re passionate about helping people work for themselves through online entrepreneurship.
It’s built primarily for content creators or anyone with an online presence.
Not only is it a link in bio, it gives you the tools and guidance to learn how to monetize your audience. That is what makes them special and why I think their business model will really blow up.
Whether you’re a content creator, blogger, or course creator, you could find something useful on Stan’s platform!
To that end, in 2025, Steven Bartlett and Gary Vee both invested in Stan Store. I think this platform will go through explosive growth over the next few years, especially as the creator economy continues to grow. (According to Forbes, it will be a $480 billion industry by 2027!)

Why I Chose Stan Store For My Business
I set up a Stan Store because it’s a simple way to create an aesthetic digital storefront that grows with my business. There is nothing I hate more than having to jump platforms when your business evolves.
If you’re starting an online business (and especially if you’re creating content), having a simple website + Stan Store will have you pretty situated!
In short, it feels like it can grow with me. As someone who wants to simplify their business and avoid burnout as much as possible, that’s huge for me.

Stan Store Example 1: John Hu (Stan Store’s Founder)
John Hu is Stan Store’s Founder. Of course, he has a Stan Store!
His store features a basic layout that Stan offers. If you need a solid starting point to get your store up, he’s a good example.
Stan Store Example 2: Abigail Peugh (Instagram Growth & Digital Products)
I think Abigail Peugh was the first creator I saw talking about Stan Store. Her store was likely one of the first ones I looked through and purchased from! Abigail is an Instagram Growth & Digital Product Educator.
Stan Store Example 3: Donavan Barrett (Personal Branding)
Donavan Barrett (Narrative Creative Agency) is a Creative Strategist. He’s a great follower if you aspire to build a personal brand online! Similar to John Hu, his store has a clean layout and is a good example as you’re building your own.

TLDR; I chose Stan Store so I could easily offer 1:1 calls as a freelance email marketing strategist. Which types of businesses shouldn’t use Stan?
Stan Store is creator-forward, so if your business is mostly offline or not on any social media, Stan is not a good option for you.
Can Stan Store replace a website?
That’s a complicated question. If you’re just starting out selling a product or service online, Stan Store can be a great place to start. It gets you up and running quickly with minimal tech knowledge.
Personally, I like having a website where I can write longer-form content and build out a larger presence. From there, I link my Stan Store so people can easily book or buy from me. In that way, I view Stan truly as my storefront!

Yes! You can have as many Stan Stores as you like. According to Stan, you can even use your own referral link to create a new account and earn 20% commission on your second subscription. Pretty sweet!
